D-Rose & Superman - what a duo!

UPDATE:
June 1, 2011 - Put yourself in the GM seat of the Chicago Bulls for a minute - be Gar Foreman. I think if you can put together a package for Dwight Howard - as long as you end up with Derrick Rose and Luol Deng - you do it!

Potential Lineup:

PG - Derrick Rose
SG - Keith Bogans
SF - Luol Deng
PF - Rip Hamilton (via free agency)
C - Dwight Howard

In a scenario where you combine Rose & Howard, you create in Chicago what has been done in Boston and Miami - a super core of talent surrounded by players who want to win championships. With more and more of these super teams popping up - the elite players know they'll have to join forces or be left out in the cold in the twilight of their careers - still looking for a title.

-------

May 31, 2011 - Last summer it was LeBron, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Carlos Boozer and more. During the season we had the Carmelo Anthony trade saga. The next in line for a departure from the team that drafted him could be ... none other than the most dominant "Big" and reigning 3-time Defensive Player of the Year in Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic.

I don't care what you have to give up - the Bulls could give as much as Joakim Noah, Luol Deng and 4 1st-round picks - get Howard if you can - and team him with Derrick Rose for an unstoppable pick-and-roll combination.

More on Howard coming to the Bulls courtesy of Bleacher Report.

it sure would be good to have Howard on the Bulls but not if they must give up that much for him. Noah will become a formidable force in the middle, Gibson just needs a little longer to come into his own, and Deng is not someone you should let go. First round picks are much to valuable to toss aside when forming a championship roster. I know the game as I learned to love is gone for higher salaries and buying championships, but I will continue to hold the values I learned.
